Christine's journey

Christine has had a lifetimes experience of working with people from all walks of life.
Following a successful career in Personnel Management, Christine went to Art school to do Ceramics and spent the following 10 years making hand thrown pottery. An increasing amount of customers confided their problems over the potters wheel and Christine decided it was time to get some counselling training.
After 4 years counsellling and Psychotherpay training, she specialised in trauma and worked with a company counselling people after traumatic incidents such as coach accidents, bank raids and major incidents.
She then developed a counselling team to work with employees of large companies covering relationship issues, bullying, stress, emotional crisis and various forms of abuse.
Christine then worked for Greater Glasgow Health Board managing and developing a counselling service for Male survivors of Childhood sexual abuse.
In her private work, Christine used her vast experience to work with all issues.

Early in 2007, Christine was first introduced to Mindfulness at a retreat on the Holy Isle, just off the west coast of Arran. Since then she has attended retreats lead by Rob Nairn, Thich Nhat Han and Christopher Germer. She has completed the Mindfulness Association One year training in Mindfulness and the Teaching Skills modules.

Christine now teaches Mindfulness in various settings and runs Mindfulness practice groups for people wanting to deepen their practice.

Christine is now taking a years sabbatical in order to deepen her own practice. However you can still contact her by emailing
